"Christ saved me!! I was lost, I was so lost I was dead, and He saved me! I did nothing. He caused me to see my sin for what it really is. He showed me my sin. He showed me the ugly and vile me!! And I knew I was lost and that, should I die, I would go to hell. He so graciously opened my eyes to show me the real me, He caused me to look past the pride of self-righteousness. He showed me how lost I really was. I use to think I was good. That is why I rejected Him. But thanks be to God. I now know that there has never been so much as a speck of good in me. All my righteous deeds were like filthy rags before Him. He showed me my sin!!! And then He showed me the cross. Oh the cross!!! I ran to the cross. But had I not seen my sin I would never have run to the cross. He showed me my sin. And then He showed me the cross. I am saved today because He opened my eyes. I have nothing to boast in. I can boast only in Him."
